The Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme is the flagship entrepreneurship programme of the Tony Elumelu Foundation, founded by the entrepreneur, respected investor and philanthropist Tony O. This is one among the 7 pillars of the Programme, a dedicated world-class annual Forum that brings together key persons in the African and global entrepreneurial eco-system with an aim to leverage our convening powers to promote African entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship; and to connect with local and regional decision makers. Young Leaders Forum (YLF) is an annual program for learning and networking, dialogue and capacity building sessions for youth between the age of 18-35 years, from social enterprises, business start-ups, civil society, international organizations and public institutions. Convened for the first time in 2016 by the Open Society Initiative for Eastern Africa (OSIEA), The 2017 Young Leaders Forum will be held from November 15-17, 2017 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, inviting young leaders from across Africa. There are no fees to attend the forum. Organizers will also provide limited support for meals and accommodation for participants from outside Dar es Salaam. Participants are however expected to cover their travel costs to and from the conference. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis up to October 27, 2017 hence you are encouraged to apply as earlier as possible.
