Newsboys Donate Over 3,000 FREE Concert Tickets To First Responders

(High Point, N.C.) Feb. 7, 2017 – Grammy® Award nominated, Platinum-selling band Newsboys in partnership with Premier Productions announces the 2017 extension of the Love Riot Tour.

In addition, the band donated more than 3,000 tickets to First Responders and their families in a two-day “Buy One, Give One” special offer.
“We want to start a LOVE RIOT and blessing these First Responders is a way to help change the world,” said Michael Tait, lead singer for the Newsboys.
During these two days for each ticket purchased, one will be donated to a First Responder through the non-profit organization Serve & Protect.
“At a time when the law enforcement community needs encouragement, the Newsboys’ tribute to the First Responder community is a beacon of hope,” said Robert Michaels, CEO and founder of Serve & Protect. The non-profit organization’s mission is to locate and facilitate trauma services for public safety professionals with symptoms of post-traumatic stress syndrome, addictions or both.
The Love Riot Tour kicked off last weekend and will stop in more than 50 cities nationwide. The “Buy One, Give One” initiative is one more way to give back to the community through music.
“As the tour promoter, we have the privilege of working closely with the Newsboys and seeing the heart of this band,” said Robyn Klass, marketing director with Premier Productions. “We are thrilled that many First Responders and their families throughout the country will get to be a part of the Love Riot Tour!”
